ANGELINA Jolie's screen
thrills in Tomb Raider are nothing compared to her
high-flying antics in real life - as a pilot.
The Oscar-winner was the
epitome of calm during a recent flying lesson.
With her teacher by her
side,the actress took off and landed the two--seater
plane perfectly during a three--hour flight.
Jolie has often said flying
lessons offer the 'ultimate thrill'.
One onlooker at the Los
Angeles airstrip said: 'It is strange to see an A-lister
climbing into the driving seat of a plane - I am more
accustomed to seeing them escorted on to a private jet.
Angelina looked extremely confident, like she'd done it
for years.'
Jolie's off-screen work
proves her feet are firmly on the ground.
Last week, the dedicated
humanitarian addressed politicians at the World Economic
Forum in her role as a UN Goodwill ambassador for
refugees. |
